The youngest of the Feezor 5 – Kendall – is officially of legal drinking age… so the crew packed up our bags and headed to San Luis Obispo for a weekend of delicious food and even better wine.
Here is a little recap:
Granada Hotel – the cutest boutique hotel I’ve been too… super fun vibe and wonderful location. Request rooms 3 & 4 if you are traveling with someone else… they have a great shared patio that is perfect for pre-dinner drinks!
Sidecar – Amazing bloody marys (get a pitcher!), and amazing eggs benedict.
Seaside Cafe – Don’t miss out on the Green Goddess Breakfast Burrito or the Chicken and Waffles… YUM.
Firestone – All you need to know – Tri-tip sandwich.
Eureka – Great happy hour deals, and don’t miss out on their amazing gourmet burgers – Jalapeño with Fried Egg? Or maybe try the one with Fig Jam, arugula and goat cheese!
Granada Bistro – Super chic decor, great vibe and wonderful appetizers (don’t miss their duck confit flatbread and deviled eggs with pork belly!
Ciopinot – Don’t miss their oysters or their namesake – Chippino… also they also have no corkage fees for the first 4 bottles!
Central Coast Food Tours – This was my favorite part of the weekend. Yule was a great tour guide, and Mary Ann made a wonderful spread (nothing is more indulgent than great food, a beautiful view and wine!!).
Edna Valley – Beautiful views, just make sure to get there before 4pm to enjoy your wine outside. Don’t miss trying their Winemakers Series Pinot!
